Electromagnetic contactors of the KTI series are designed for use in control circuits for starting and stopping three-phase asynchronous electric motors with squirrel-cage rotors in electrical networks with a nominal voltage of up to 660 V AC, and can also be used for switching on and off other electrical installations: lighting, heating units, and various inductive loads. They are used in fans, pumps, furnaces, overhead cranes, and in automatic transfer switch (ATS) systems.
